I write this review with so much gratitude as Dr. Champaneria (or Dr. Champ as I like to refer to him) has been one of the pillars of my breast cancer chapter. My oncology team removed cancer and Dr. Champ is making me physically whole again. His passion around his craft is infused with depth, knowledge, care, kindness, and transparency. We’ve been on this journey together since I was diagnosed and from the moment you meet with his scheduler, the office administrative staff, his incredible nurses… the experience is full of authentic care from all and Dr. Champ has personally called me on several occasions to simply check in, answer questions that I’ll email via the portal, and he does so because he genuinely cares about the recovery process. My reconstruction process has been smooth, information has always been up front and accurate, and his impeccable work leaves me with minimal scars post a double mastectomy (it’s so impressive). Lastly, Dr. Champs “how” is one I truly appreciate and he’s even made me laugh during appointments where I probably didn’t feel like laughing. To simply state it, he’s a lovely human. Huge thanks to Dr. Champ and his incredible staff… because of you I’m able to find physical beauty in my body after removing cancer and because of you I’m able to have questions answered immediately in which I don’t have to search the dreaded internet. If you are looking for a plastic surgeon, look no further as you’ve found the best! More

I can not speak more highly of Dr. Champeneria. He is an exceptional plastic surgeon who is extremely talented at his skills. In addition, he has a way of connecting with his patients and making them feel at ease with their medical journey. I first met Dr. Champeneria five days before my preventive mastectomy. Due to some unforeseen circumstances of having to change doctors last minute, he guided me with medical knowledge and kindness in order to make informed decisions of what choices I had and what was best for me. His post operative care (including his nurses and office staff) are outstanding. He takes the time to educate you about your health and make you feel at ease. His team showed tremendous care for my physical and emotional well being through the mastectomy and breast reconstruction surgery. When I decided to move forward with an elective abdominoplasty, I of course went to see Dr. Champeneria to complete the procedure. Once again he educated me on the procedure, recovery and results prior to the surgery. The day of the surgery he continued to make me feel at ease and guided me through my recovery with full success. Of course I am thrilled with the results! I can not speak more highly of Dr. Champeneria and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for either preventative or elective plastic surgery. More

Blessed - Dr. Champaneria is BLESSED with so many incredible gifts and for that I am grateful! I had a ruptured implant that needed immediate surgery. I knew nothing about him, but he made feel so confident in what he was going to do to replace my implants. The final result was OUTSTANDING and I couldn't be happier!! I highly recommend this artist who is gifted, you won't be sorry and I say go for that tummy tuck too!! More

Dr. Champaneria is an amazing surgeon. He makes dreams come true. I had quite a few procedures I wanted done and he was able to do all of them in one surgery safely and beautifully. My scars are fading fast and I’m only about 2 months post op!! I had a breast reduction/ lift and I can’t believe how perfect they look now! I also had a BBL and my curves are everything I hoped for. Pain after surgery was very little, he answered and continues to answer any and all questions I have. Also, if I decide to get any future surgery I think I’d prefer to fly out and get the work done by him (since he is relocating) because I know it would be done right!! I’m so grateful for the wonderful work he’s done and obviously love my new look! More

Dr Champanaria and his team of associates were incredibly detailed and thoughtful every step of the way. I appreciated Dr Champaneria’s ability to guide me through my options as I prepared to have a mommy makeover. Initially I wanted implants and Dr Champaneria recommended against it based on a couple of factors, I am so glad I went with his recommendation as I am thrilled with both my tummy tuck and breast lift. His expertise and consultative style can’t be matched. I would recommend Dr Champanaria to anyone seeking a mommy makeover or anything else. More

From my initial consultation to the final aftercare appointment, I was very pleased with all aspects of Dr. Champenarias' professionalism, demeanor, and most importantly, the end result of the procedure that I had done (Abdominoplasty). I can wear shorts without a shirt and you cannot tell that I had any surgery done. I am perfectly symmetrical with no abnormalities. If I ever have any more work done, it will definitely be with Dr. Champenaria. More

I had always been very self-conscious about my behind not being as big as I desired. I had a couple of friends who had gotten butt implants but had travelled out of the state to do the procedure. I didn't feel comfortable going out of state to do my surgery so my initial thought was to look into the best local doctors, go to several consultations and then decided which doctor was the best suited for my type of procedure. I found Dr.Champaneria online, he was my the first and the only doctor I ended up meeting with. The reason for that is because Dr.Champaneria went over with me all my options, the risks involving my procedure, expected outcome and his best recommendation. I really felt like he was very honest with me about his recommendation for my well being, instead of feeling like he was recommending me to this huge procedure for the profit. I decided to move forward with doing the Brazilian butt lift, getting the fat from my tummy and back instead of doing the butt implants. Surgery day I was pretty nervous, but Dr.Champaneria gave me all the confidence needed to helped calm all my nervous. After surgery, I followed up with all my appointments to make sure everything was healing properly. We did notice that one butt cheek was not healing properly, the bruising and how it felt when you touched it wasn't the outcome that we were expecting. After a few months, approximately 6 months after my surgery, Dr.Champaneria had to make a small incision to remove some of the fat that unfortunately wasn't mixing well with the rest of my body which may have caused an infection if not performed. This lead to one butt cheek being bigger than the other which was definitely not the plan. At this point Dr.Champaneria said "Jessica don't worry, we will get you the result you were looking for, trust me we will get you there". So the plan was to do another surgery, a Brazilian butt lift revision, to add a little bit more fat to the butt cheek that was smaller to make them even. I was okay with this because I knew that everyone's body reacts differently, mine was simply not reacting well with some of that fat that was added and never did I feel like it was some sort of malpractice, things simply happen but we had a game plan on how to fix it. On my second surgery, Dr.Champaneria ended up taking more fat from my body, adding it to both cheeks in order to make both even, fuller adding more projection at no extra cost. It's been three months after my second surgery and I couldn't be happier with my results thanks to Dr.Champaneria. I would completely recommend him to anyone who is looking into doing a similar procedure as me. I am very thankful to him and his wonderful staff!!! More

It's been two months since Dr. Manish Champaneria performed liposuction on my flanks, upper/lower abs and inner/outer thighs. Even after experiencing the bruising and swelling as well as pain that come with this procedure, I have no complaints or regrets. My body is still swollen -- especially my lower abdomen - and I still experience occasional pain in my sides, but I can definitely see a difference in my body. All my pants, shorts and dresses are much looser on me. I've dropped a size and expect to slim down even more when all the swelling is gone in a few months. Dr. Champaneria suggested Lipo to me when I first saw him for a consultation on Vanquish for my thighs (saddle bags) and bra back fat a few months ago. He was very honest -- and kind -- when he told me that I would not be happy with Vanquish because it could not remove the amount of fat I was wanting to lose. I see Dr. Champaneria as an artist. He told me when he worked in my thighs he was careful to remove fat, but in a way to keep my curves. I am excited on how my body will continue to improve in the coming months as the swelling goes down. Thank you, Dr. Champaneria! I would highly recommend you to friends and family. More

As always, when considering surgery, it is important to do your research and find a provider with whom you are comfortable with. My experience with Dr. Champaneria has been exemplary. I found that he listened to me when I told him what led to my decision and my concerns, and answered them in a knowledgeable and compassionate manner.I waited 10 months to give this review, so that I could give a better review of the outcome. I am so exceedingly happy with the results! I can honestly say that they look beautiful, my headaches / neckaches / shoulderaches / backaches have disappeared and my confidence has soared! The only question that I have is why I didn't do this sooner! I was a H cup originally, and am now at a full B cup! The best part, is that I can now run again without pain! I took advantage of the laser scar treatment that was offered, and while I was initially skeptical, it really makes a difference, and I cannot believe how faint they are already. I haven't hesitated to recommend Dr. Champaneria to others considering this surgery, and if I decide on any other future surgeries in this field, I will be going back to his office. More

34 Years Old, 2 Kids, Pregnancy Wasn't Good to Me - Vancouver, WA - After dedicating 3 years of my life to trying to get my "pre-pregnant" body back, I conceded that pregnancy wasn't good to me. I had two children and lost over 135 pounds, stuck to a very strict diet and exercise schedule, and still couldn't get my body back. Like many women I had a constant protruding stomach and lots of excess skin. My breasts were completely deflated and also had excess skin. After much research and 4 different consultations I finally found Dr. Champaneria and it was a match made in heaven! He made me feel comfortable immediately and from our first visit I knew he was the surgeon for me. His office is super professional and very friendly. He set out a game plan for a full abdominalplasty with muscle repair and a breast lift with augmentation (also known as a mommy makeover) I was hesitant at first to do the whole thing but Dr. Champaneria welcomed and answered all my questions with ease. He is very knowledgable and confident in his abilities. He also clearly outlined what to expect in the recovery process. The surgery went perfect, my incisions are as minimal as possible, and Dr. Champaneria and his team were there for me every step of the way. My aftercare is amazing and I love going into the office. I finally have my body back and could not be happier. I highly recommend Dr. Champaneria to anyone looking for a Plastic surgeon, he is truly amazing!!! More

Mommy Makeover - This office, and this doctor are WONDERFUL! If you choose to have any procedures done, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Champaneria. His pre op and post op care is WONDERFUL. He cares about you, and spends time with you, and listens to what your ideas are too. I have never felt hurried while in his office. You will not be disappointed if you go to see him. You will be ELATED after surgery too! The office staff is GREAT also. More

Diep Flap Breast Reonstruction and My New Amazing Belly Boob! - Vancouver, WA - Diep Flap Breast Reconstruction and My Amazing New Belly-Boob! 54 years oldInvasive Ductal CarcinomaMastectomy, right breast 4/2/2015Lymphectomy 4/22/2015DIEP-flap Surgery 2/4/216My wonderful Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Mannish Champaneria went over all of my options for reconstruction, and I decided to have the DIEP-flap. I had a nice, ample, lower belly roll that would make a great boob and it would be all me, would be warm, and would age with my body Dr. Champaneria had not glossed over the fact that it was a long and complicated surgery, and it would take a while to totally recover.I would need another surgery to lift the left breast to match the new one, and they would also do liposuction on my stomach. After that, there would be a small surgery to build the areola and nipple. Still, this seemed to be an incredible way to replace my breast. And I had all the confidence in the world in Dr. Champaneria. It was 10 months after my mastectomy when I had the DIEP-flap surgery. I checked in PeaceHealth Hospital on Feb. 3, 2016. Dr. Champaneria came in the pre-op and went over everything again. He is so professional, and seems to want to get his patients the best results he can. He also wants to make sure they know what to expect. I totally trusted him. I also met Grace, his serene and capable assistant. I knew I was in good hands.I was in surgery for 10 hours. I woke up in what would be my room for the next three days. I looked down and had two breasts again! It was me again! I think I cried a little. I had not mourned the loss of my breast to mastectomy - it wanted to kill me and it had to go. But I will admit, that looking in the mirror for those 10 months was hard. The scar looked so harsh and ugly next to the one breast I had left. I tried to not think about it. But when I woke up after surgery, looked down and saw I had two breasts again it kinda hit me. I guess I hadn’t realized just how much looking at that slash in my chest had demoralized me.The pain pump kept me very comfortable, and the nurses on the Eighth floor were fabulous. I had a monitor on the belly boob, to make sure the blood was flowing. It would make that noise for three days. I began to actually like the sound - it meant my new boob was happy and healthy!I’m now seven weeks from the surgery, and have lost 10 pounds and had to buy a 4” shorter belt. I’ll be having my revision surgery on May 4. Dr. Champaneria will lift my left breast to match the new, perker one, and also do liposuction on my mid-section.Dr. Chamaneria and his staff have been stellar. I could not have found a more caring, talented, and charming plastic surgeon. I could not be happier.I can’t wait to see what I will look like after this next one. Dr. Champaneria did such an amazing job with the first surgery, I know he is going to make me look fabulous!I’ll keep you posted! More

55 Years Old, 3 Kids, and Have Wanted This for Quite Some Time - Portland Area - I had my first child at 19, and gained 40 lbs, seems like I never quite lost all the weight with each child, and always seemed to gain about 40 each time. I have not liked my boobs for quite some time, but now with menopause, they seem to have grown in leaps and bounds. I use to be a 34C, and have been all over the board but recently in my Wacoal bra, I am a 34G !! UGH. The shoulder grooves have been there forever it seems, and the weight of my girls have lately taken it's toll on my back, with annoying pain between my shoulder blades. Sometimes the grooves in my shoulders ached so bad, I would have to move my straps one way or the other to actually get some relief.I got the courage to talk to my husband about getting a reduction, and he's all for it. We have great insurance, and he said if that was covered "go for it". Then I was concerned about being out of proportion, so I will add a tummy tuck, which isn't covered, but he's fine with that now too. I have stalked this site since I have googled my questions, and this site came up. It's been one of the BEST things I've found, and yes, I'm quite obsessed with all the stories.I am hoping to end up with a C cup, I've been in to see the PS twice now, once for just the reduction, and the last time was to consult about a TT, and to see if I can do both at the same time. NO implants will be put in, as I do NOT want those for me. The first consult (July 30th) the PS talked about the anchor procedure, and I saw pictures or their patients. I also had my pictures taken, which is just horrendous, but needed for insurance purposes. The second consult (Oct 22) was for the tummy tuck questions, and more pictures were taken UGH.I also have a gall bladder scar that has to be taken into consideration as the PS has to work around that, so he said my scar might start a bit higher than the real low kinds, which is fine, since I won't wear a bikini at my age anyway. Dr. then talked about the lollipop procedure, and I've been stalking that procedure now. LOL I can't seem to upload my pictures, and I'm not sure why, so I'll continue working on that. I'm very active, and have a physical job, so I'm planning on taking the month of Feb. off, which seems so far away, but will probably get here quicker than I realize. When I first went in to see the PS I was 160 lbs, (I'm 5'4"), and now I'm at 155, hoping to get to 150 by surgery time. I'm extremely nervous, and am starting to have dreams of a botched surgery, but I guess that's just normal. I'm also hoping I'm mentally prepared for the change in my future body, as for years I've covered up my body, and IF I wear something slightly tight, I usually have a sweater, or a vest to help cover me up. I also feel extremely guilty for doing this, and will have to work through that too. Otherwise THANK YOU Ladies for all of your pictures, and suggestions and stories, to help all of us futures get through this!! More

My Breast Reconstruction Story - Vancouver, WA - I really didn't think it would effect me all that much to lose a breast from breast cancer. I thought about how fortunate I truly was to be alive and to have survived stage 3 breast cancer. But, I found myself looking in the mirror at my body that looked so different after the chemotherapy, radiation and a unilateral mastectomy. I had gained weight due to side effects of steroids used as part of my treatment, lost my hair and I stood there looking at one breast and on the other side, I had a "chest wall". I felt guilty as I cried. I felt so unattractive. I felt that I shouldn't be so selfish, so vain. I dried my eyes, put a smile on my face and hid my disfigured body the best I could. I was happy to be alive. I decided to pursue breast reconstruction with Dr. Manish Champaneria. This was a life changing experience as well. Dr. Champaneria preformed the Diep Flap procedure of reconstruction on me. I highly recommend this procedure with utilizes the fatty tissue and skin from the abdominal area to create a new, natural feeling breast. So, basically, I got a tummy tuck and a new breast! Dr. Champaneria did a wonderful job! He is a true artist at what he does! Not only do I feel whole again physically, the depression I was feeling has lifted and I feel that I can move forward into a bright, hopeful future. Dr. Champaneria really cares about his patients and it shows. He spends quality time with each patient. He's easy to talk to and he made me feel that my case was not only important to me, but to him as well! I highly recommend Dr. Champaneria. More

Lift the Breasts and Enhance Them! Yes, YOU Deserve This! - Vancouver, WA - I am a 59 yr old who was tired of the "droopy old lady" breasts and wanted them back to the were before. It was the best thing I have done for myself. I was scared but Dr Manish C Champaneria, MD was such a gentle sole that my worry turned to "Lets do it"! It was a very smooth procedure and had BEAUTIFUL results. The scars are healing very nice as he did a great job. It was well worth the money spent. I feel like a new person again. THIS IS A MUST DO FOR YOURSELF. Cannot in words express just how wonderful I feel. Going to give my daughter, who is in her 30's and three kids later, a gift to have a Tummy Tuck and Breast Lift with Implants whenever she is ready. Thats how impressed I am. More
