As a transgender male seeking transitional services, it can be a nerve-wracking and vulnerable experience to navigate the process of top surgery. That said, from the moment I first met Dr. Champaneria at my initial consultation I knew that I was in the right place. He has such a friendly manner and was clearly knowledgeable about all things LGBTQ+. He answered practically all my "planned questions" before I asked them and made me feel respected, safe, and cared for the entire time. I just started watching This is Us and in the very first episode, Mandy Moore’s character is about to give birth to triplets with a high risk pregnancy and her doctor is unavailable. The doctor that arrives understands her concerns and in that scene takes the most care to reassure her and make her feel calm and confident in him. It was a critical time in her life and she was scared but this warm, compassionate, confident and capable doctor shows up and makes her feel at ease. I didn’t give birth to triplets, but I did have breast cancer and it was scary and unknown and I felt lost kind of like the scared pregnant character. In walks Dr. Champaneria. He instantly put me at ease. He is so warm and friendly and at the same time you feel like you are in the very best hands. He’s an exceptional surgeon and and every kinder human. I am 5 months post-op as of January. From the start I knew Dr. Champaneria would be the perfect fit for my top surgery. Where do I even start. This journey hasn’t been an easy one. In 2019 after having a partial mastectomy, I had reconstruction done by a different doctor. I was unhappy with my results and left to be very self conscious. I thought this was the best I could look with my situation, and kept telling myself I should be grateful… but again I had another surgery in July 2022 to remove a mass which thankfully was benign. I was told I could pursue reconstruction again. So I did. I scheduled appointments with numerous doctors. The first appointment I had lined up was with Dr. Champaneria. I left that appointment feeling so hopeful and excited! I knew he was the perfect doctor for me. He listened to me and my needs. Asked me all the questions and not once felt rushed! My mom was with me at this appointment and she too felt as I did. We agreed there was no need to even bother with the other consultations. I canceled them immediately and scheduled surgery for October. Let me tell you, surgery was a success! This time around, my reconstruction is a completely different story. I have gained my confidence back. I am 7 weeks post op and already feel amazing. I know this isn’t an easy journey, but having someone like Dr. Champaneria makes all the difference. My oncology team removed cancer and Dr. Champ is making me physically whole again. His passion around his craft is infused with depth, knowledge, care, kindness, and transparency. We’ve been on this journey together since I was diagnosed and from the moment you meet with his scheduler, the office administrative staff, his incredible nurses… the experience is full of authentic care from all and Dr. Champ has personally called me on several occasions to simply check in, answer questions that I’ll email via the portal, and he does so because he genuinely cares about the recovery process. My reconstruction process has been smooth, information has always been up front and accurate, and his impeccable work leaves me with minimal scars post a double mastectomy (it’s so impressive). Lastly, Dr. Champs “how” is one I truly appreciate and he’s even made me laugh during appointments where I probably didn’t feel like laughing. To simply state it, he’s a lovely human. Dr. Champaneria is a great surgeon. The aesthetics are exactly what I hoped for, and the healing has been smooth. Personally speaking, he’s very conscientious (he encouraged me to consult with other surgeons before deciding on one), a clear communicator, and appears to have a real passion for his work that is rooted in an understanding of and empathy for his patients’ needs. I had top surgery with Dr. Champaneria on 4/21/2022 (double incision with nipple grafts) and I am thrilled with my results. The whole experience with Dr. Champaneria and his team has been everything I could want. Everyone at his clinic is considerate, professional, and friendly. I had a great hospital experience, although of course I don’t remember most of it - but I was well taken care of, felt reassured that I was in the hands of competent professionals, and everything they did was explained to me fully. I was even encouraged to take my phone with me into the OR, which was weirdly calming, even though I was out pretty quick once I got there. It hasn’t yet been a full month since the procedure but I am very happy with how my chest is healing! The recovery has been pretty smooth sailing, as far as these things go - I’ve never had surgery before, or even any broken bones, so this may be the most intense recovery experience I’ve ever had, but from everything I have read and heard from others who have had the same procedure, I am doing really well and have been very fortunate with my healing process! I had been contemplating getting Botox for some time now. I had heard great things from friends of mine about Dr. Champaneria’s work and decided to give it a try. I’m overly excited with the results. He injected into my forehead (for deep frown lines) and around my outer eyes (for crows feet). Virtually painless. I had no pain afterwards and no bruising. It took a few days to see end results but the crows feet are gone and the frown lines, barely visible. Amazing work! Would definitely recommend Dr.C for your cosmetic needs. More

One month ago I had breast implants replaced by Dr Manish Champaneria and it was the best medical experience I’ve ever had. I had a preventative mastectomy 25 years ago and I needed replacement. I was referred to Dr Champaneria and I was nervous. He and his nurses and office staff made the whole experience calm and safe and relaxing for me with appts, information for prepping and post up and several follow-up calls. The results were fantastic. He did the replacement job but he totally improved the looks of my breasts and I was amazed. The experience of the operation at Scripps hospital was excellent and Dr Champaneria spent time before and after surgery with me and I have never felt so comfortable. A bit of backstory: I've been "generously endowed" since age 14 or so, about a size 36 D or DD. Sometimes my size was annoying, but I just dealt with it. BUT THEN at age 62 or so, my breasts started getting bigger, even though the rest of me did not. At age 69 and size 346H I had daily headaches, divots in my shoulders from bra straps, found my breasts getting in the way of daily activities, and felt that my appearance did not reflect my personality at all. I went through the process of getting my doctor to prescribe breast reduction, then 6 weeks of physiotherapy (not much help, as the problem was not my posture), then getting Medicare approval, and finally made an appointment for a consultation. ( I mention the whole process because it's generally the protocol one must follow to get insurance to pay for breast reduction.) Dr. Champaneria was sensitive and honest about possible outcomes, provided complete information for before and after surgery, and was always pleasant and professional. He did a stellar job of reducing "the girls" while keeping them in proportion with the rest of me. I am very happy with the results and think my body finally reflects how I feel on the inside. It has now been two months and I would have to point out the scar for anyone to notice it - I had a mole on my face that had grown, but I was afraid to have it removed because of the scar it would leave. I'm an FTM guy, had a keyhole mastectomy operations about 3 months ago with Dr. Champaneria. He did not take much convincing or proof that I needed this surgery - he knows what trans men are about. He recommended a 23-hour post-op hospital stay, to avoid the 24-hour insurance fees, which my wallet appreciated. He has a great bedside manner, is charming and charismatic and enthusiastic and knowledgeable.My one big con would be that he talks somewhat fast, which makes me feel like he wants to be done with me. But that's just me.As for his office, I was never misgendered, no questions at all about that stuff. His insurance coordinator, Christina, was unable to give me answers about costs. His friendly and sincere nature was refreshing and reassuring, and his microsurgery skills have stood out through his results.Dr. Champaneria performed lymph node transfer surgery to treat the lymphedema that I had in one leg and groin from prostate cancer treatments two years earlier. Dr. Champaneria is amazing. His staff are welcoming and the care provided from everyone is nurturing and understanding. They navigated the referral to surgery process with me, with this being my first time having a large scale procedure being done. There was one point of confusion when it came to understanding my after surgery care, but as soon as it was mentioned, it was addressed immediately. And when I had concerns, Dr. Champaneria or one of his staff contacted me back quickly with some advice or a request for them to see me in office. Overall, I don't have to have this procedure again. But if I had to, I would choose this office again, hands down. I already have a friend who is considering a procedure and have suggested his office. After years of styling my hair to coverup a bump on my forehead, Dr. Champaneria went above and beyond to remove what was causing it. He not only removed the bump, but took his time and completely resolved the issue. My previous attempt to remove the bump was only a half hearted attempt and did not even come close to effort Dr. Champaneria put forth. From the moment I talked with his office to my check in to my preparation to post surgery bed side manner all the way until his follow up with me, I felt I was in great hands and well taken care of. I actually went online to find a plastic surgeon and happily I found Peace Health Plastic Surgery Grp. My consultation appointment was with Dr. Champaneria. I knew from this meeting he was who I wanted to perform my procedure. In June, 2016 had a Face & Neck Lift. It went so well and looks great. I was to have another procedure to follow later once I was healed, a CO2 Laser treatment to my mouth and cheek areas. In the mean time he performed eyelid surgery on Oct. 17, 2016. This surgery was covered by my insurance as medically necessary. Again, it turned out wonderful. Recently I underwent the CO2 Laser treatment, Feb. 7, 2017 and at this time am still healing from it. What I love about Dr. Champaneria is, not only he is a great guy, but he is conservative and certainly great expertise when it comes to performing plastic surgery. Nothing drastic to alter the natural look. For me that is the art of plastic surgery. I look and feel good and would recommend this Doctor to anyone seeking the need or desire to enhance one’s self image. I had always been very self-conscious about my behind not being as big as I desired. I had a couple of friends who had gotten butt implants but had travelled out of the state to do the procedure. I didn't feel comfortable going out of state to do my surgery so my initial thought was to look into the best local doctors, go to several consultations and then decided which doctor was the best suited for my type of procedure. I found Dr.Champaneria online, he was my the first and the only doctor I ended up meeting with. The reason for that is because Dr.Champaneria went over with me all my options, the risks involving my procedure, expected outcome and his best recommendation. I really felt like he was very honest with me about his recommendation for my well being, instead of feeling like he was recommending me to this huge procedure for the profit. I decided to move forward with doing the Brazilian butt lift, getting the fat from my tummy and back instead of doing the butt implants. Surgery day I was pretty nervous, but Dr.Champaneria gave me all the confidence needed to helped calm all my nervous. After surgery, I followed up with all my appointments to make sure everything was healing properly. We did notice that one butt cheek was not healing properly, the bruising and how it felt when you touched it wasn't the outcome that we were expecting. After a few months, approximately 6 months after my surgery, Dr.Champaneria had to make a small incision to remove some of the fat that unfortunately wasn't mixing well with the rest of my body which may have caused an infection if not performed. This lead to one butt cheek being bigger than the other which was definitely not the plan. At this point Dr.Champaneria said "Jessica don't worry, we will get you the result you were looking for, trust me we will get you there". So the plan was to do another surgery, a Brazilian butt lift revision, to add a little bit more fat to the butt cheek that was smaller to make them even. I was okay with this because I knew that everyone's body reacts differently, mine was simply not reacting well with some of that fat that was added and never did I feel like it was some sort of malpractice, things simply happen but we had a game plan on how to fix it. On my second surgery, Dr.Champaneria ended up taking more fat from my body, adding it to both cheeks in order to make both even, fuller adding more projection at no extra cost. It's been three months after my second surgery and I couldn't be happier with my results thanks to Dr.Champaneria. I would completely recommend him to anyone who is looking into doing a similar procedure as me. I am very thankful to him and his wonderful staff!!! More
i was diagnosed by my va podiatry doctor of a stage 4 melanoma lesion on the heel of my right foot--77 years of age, am i. a call on a wednesday to dr. 'champs' office, i was in the office on thursday, and in the operation room monday. the first surgery was to remove a sizable portion of my heel tissue, and the tracking and removal of lymph nodes behind the knee and in the groin--all to see if the cancer had traveled--i was then cancer free . the second surgery was to loosen a large portion of skin and 'like' tissue from the instep and pivoted around, along with the artery redirected and stiched/stapled in place of where the heel tissue had been removed. quite a procedure in my estimation--and it worked, the replaced tissue began to heal and the third surgery was to take a skin graph from my thigh, and with 'integra', cultivated tissue replacement, replace the redirected tisssue from the instep of my foot- then he made me sit with my foot elevated for 4 months--i got so bored, i began watching soap operas, and worse yet, i began to like them! so what is my review--just the best you could hope for--great scheduling, staff of professionals--the peace medical center is tops-- and a surgeon who has care, empathy, and just damned good at his profession--of being a doctor! he saved my life by his decisive actions--i feel honored to post this review best regards, melvin lundstad More

Dr Champeneria is the most caring doctor I have ever met. I started seeing Dr. Champ in February of this year after a major accident. During my six week stay at the hospital he and/or his assistant Grace were in my room once or twice a day, always had a smile on there face and a caring word to say. Not only was he able to save my bellybutton (which he up-front warned me that he may not be able to do) during my surgery for post gastric bypass surgery's for extra skin removal. It's been two months since Dr. Manish Champaneria performed liposuction on my flanks, upper/lower abs and inner/outer thighs. Even after experiencing the bruising and swelling as well as pain that come with this procedure, I have no complaints or regrets. My body is still swollen -- especially my lower abdomen - and I still experience occasional pain in my sides, but I can definitely see a difference in my body. All my pants, shorts and dresses are much looser on me. I've dropped a size and expect to slim down even more when all the swelling is gone in a few months. Dr. Champaneria suggested Lipo to me when I first saw him for a consultation on Vanquish for my thighs (saddle bags) and bra back fat a few months ago. I went online to find a plastic surgeon and happily found Peace Health Plastic Surgery Grp. My consultation appointment was with Dr. Champaneria. I knew from this meeting he was who I wanted to perform my procedure. In June, 2016 had a Face & Neck Lift. It went so well and looks great. I was to have another procedure to follow later once I was healed, a CO2 Laser treatment to my mouth and cheek areas. In the mean time he performed eyelid surgery on Oct. 17, 2016. This surgery was covered by my insurance as a medical necessity. Again, it turned out wonderful. Recently I underwent the CO2 Laser treatment, Feb. 7, 2017 and at this time am still healing from it. I didn't feel comfortable going out of state to do my surgery so my initial thought was to look into the best local doctors, go to several consultations and then decided which doctor was the best suited for my type of procedure.I found Dr.Champaneria online, he was my the first and the only doctor I ended up meeting with. The reason for that is because Dr.Champaneria went over with me all my options, the risks involving my procedure, expected outcome and his best recommendation. I really felt like he was very honest with me about his recommendation for my well being, instead of feeling like he was recommending me to this huge procedure for the profit. I decided to move forward with doing the Brazilian butt lift, getting the fat from my tummy and back instead of doing the butt implants. Surgery day I was pretty nervous, but Dr.Champaneria gave me all the confidence needed to helped calm all my nervous.After surgery, I followed up with all my appointments to make sure everything was healing properly. We did notice that one butt cheek was not healing properly, the bruising and how it felt when you touched wasn't the outcome that we were expecting. After a few months, approximately 6 months after my surgery, Dr.Champaneria had to make a small incision to remove some of the fat that unfortunately wasn't mixing well with the rest of my body which may have caused an infection if not performed. This lead to one butt cheek being bigger than the other which was definitely not the plan. At this point Dr.Champaneria said "Jessica don't worry, we will get you the result you were looking for, trust me we will get you there". So the plan was to do another surgery, a Brazilian butt lift revision, to add a little bit more fat to the butt cheek that was smaller to make them even. I was okay with this because I knew that everyone's body reacts differently, mine was simply not reacting well with some of that fat that was added and never did I feel like it was some sort of malpractice, things simply happen but we had a game plan on how to fix it. On my second surgery, Dr.Champaneria ended up taking more fat from my body, adding it to both cheeks in order to make both even, fuller adding more projection at no extra cost. It's been three months after my second surgery and I couldn't be happier with my results thanks to Dr.Champaneria. I am so exceedingly happy with the results! I can honestly say that they look beautiful, my headaches / neckaches / shoulderaches / backaches have disappeared and my confidence has soared! The only question that I have is why I didn't do this sooner! I was a H cup originally, and am now at a full B cup! The best part, is that I can now run again without pain! He is one of the most talentest and kindnest Doctor I ever known, Dr. Louis at UW medicine in Seattle, Washington. Later, I had to moved to Vancouver WA, can't see my favorite doctor anymore. I were referred to Peace Health at Vacounver clinic, there I met doctor Champeraria. At first I was a little shy because I heard this doctor just graduate a few years ago, so I was afraid he is lack of experience. However, after I had known Dr. Champ. was one of Dr. Louis fellow student at UW, my fear went away because I knew I am in good hands. Dr. Champ was very patient and try hard to work with my busy schedule and was able to get me in in such a short notice. I never had any doctor called me on my cell to check on me to make sure I am okay with the procedure and to reschedule the next procedure. Any ways , many words can't explain how happy I am with the result and how appreciate Dr. Champ with his work on me. I am so very please to Dr. Patient care service which make me feel I am special. 34 Years Old, 2 Kids, Pregnancy Wasn't Good to Me - Vancouver, WA - After dedicating 3 years of my life to trying to get my "pre-pregnant" body back, I conceded that pregnancy wasn't good to me. I had two children and lost over 135 pounds, stuck to a very strict diet and exercise schedule, and still couldn't get my body back. Like many women I had a constant protruding stomach and lots of excess skin. My breasts were completely deflated and also had excess skin. I had a nice, ample, lower belly roll that would make a great boob and it would be all me, would be warm, and would age with my body Dr. Champaneria had not glossed over the fact that it was a long and complicated surgery, and it would take a while to totally recover.I would need another surgery to lift the left breast to match the new one, and they would also do liposuction on my stomach. After that, there would be a small surgery to build the areola and nipple. Still, this seemed to be an incredible way to replace my breast. And I had all the confidence in the world in Dr. Champaneria.It was 10 months after my mastectomy when I had the DIEP-flap surgery. I checked in PeaceHealth Hospital on Feb. 3, 2016. I Thought I Would Settle for Prosthesis! - Vancouver, WA - I'm 56 yrs. old when my doctor started my breast reconstruction, it takes a year to do the process, so now I'm 57 and the results is amazingly fabulous, excellent job compared at the beginning when I had no left breast. What an excellent job is Doctor Champaneria has done to myself. I feel great without no more hesitation to show off the result and I don't have to wear on & off with the prostheses I had in the beginning besides I get tired of wearing and it is not the same what I got now the implant. I can't describe enough how grateful I am and the decision I made to have it done I feel a real "ME"!! To look at my breast now it's like an art what a picture to have this done with an excellent and a perfectionist doing the job that he loves to do, that's what I loved about my doctor if I just have more money I would definitely go back to have more done with myself. Super!! Super!! Surgeon - Vancouver, WA - After having a mastectomy I decided I wanted to continue my life looking like and feeling like a woman. I did not want a flat chest. I was fortunate enough to have insurance that covered all charges. My cancer doctor highly recommended Dr. Champaneria and after talking to him about procedures, pros and cons I decided to go with breast reconstruction. The surgeries and healing went well and I am very happy with the results. Pain was minimal, healing occurred quickly. The pros --I have breasts that look great and the only con was the drain tubes which caused discomfort. More

37 Year Old, Kids Can Be Murder on the Body...Vancouver, WA - Large breasts run in my family. It seems that they get larger after you have children. I am about 5' 1" and had a DDD breast size. 28 Year Old Liquid Silicone Implants Removed - Vancouver, WA - After 28 years, my liquid silicone breast implants needed to come out. They were asymmetrical, with one nipple pointing up and one nipple pointing down. A recent mammogram indicated that both had ruptured. There was also extensive calcified encapsulation of both implants, and I was in a fair amount of constant pain. The implants were originally inserted through an incision in my armpits, and placed on top of the chest muscle. At that time I was told that they would last my lifetime. Now, everyone knows that is not true. I am 59 years old, and have made the decision to embrace my natural look, whatever it turns out to be. Well, my natural look turns out to be pretty good. My breasts are not full, but at least my nipples are pointing the same direction – and it's not straight down! When I wear a push-up bra (36C), I even have cleavage. I give all the credit to Dr. Champaneria. The surgery was challenging and took all of three hours to perform. The doctor had to literally chisel out the scar tissue. This could have led to a lot of disfigurement, but due to the doctor's skill, it didn't. I have normal looking breasts now, and I am very happy and out of pain. And I no longer have to feel embarrassed when naked. More
55 Years Old, 3 Kids, and Have Wanted This for Quite Some Time - Portland Area - I had my first child at 19, and gained 40 lbs, seems like I never quite lost all the weight with each child, and always seemed to gain about 40 each time. I have not liked my boobs for quite some time, but now with menopause, they seem to have grown in leaps and bounds. I use to be a 34C, and have been all over the board but recently in my Wacoal bra, I am a 34G !! UGH. The shoulder grooves have been there forever it seems, and the weight of my girls have lately taken it's toll on my back, with annoying pain between my shoulder blades. Sometimes the grooves in my shoulders ached so bad, I would have to move my straps one way or the other to actually get some relief.I got the courage to talk to my husband about getting a reduction, and he's all for it. We have great insurance, and he said if that was covered "go for it". Then I was concerned about being out of proportion, so I will add a tummy tuck, which isn't covered, but he's fine with that now too. I have stalked this site since I have googled my questions, and this site came up. It's been one of the BEST things I've found, and yes, I'm quite obsessed with all the stories.I am hoping to end up with a C cup, I've been in to see the PS twice now, once for just the reduction, and the last time was to consult about a TT, and to see if I can do both at the same time. NO implants will be put in, as I do NOT want those for me. The first consult (July 30th) the PS talked about the anchor procedure, and I saw pictures or their patients. I also had my pictures taken, which is just horrendous, but needed for insurance purposes. The second consult (Oct 22) was for the tummy tuck questions, and more pictures were taken UGH.I also have a gall bladder scar that has to be taken into consideration as the PS has to work around that, so he said my scar might start a bit higher than the real low kinds, which is fine, since I won't wear a bikini at my age anyway. Dr. then talked about the lollipop procedure, and I've been stalking that procedure now. LOL I can't seem to upload my pictures, and I'm not sure why, so I'll continue working on that. I'm very active, and have a physical job, so I'm planning on taking the month of Feb. off, which seems so far away, but will probably get here quicker than I realize.When I first went in to see the PS I was 160 lbs, (I'm 5'4"), and now I'm at 155, hoping to get to 150 by surgery time. I'm extremely nervous, and am starting to have dreams of a botched surgery, but I guess that's just normal. I'm also hoping I'm mentally prepared for the change in my future body, as for years I've covered up my body, and IF I wear something slightly tight, I usually have a sweater, or a vest to help cover me up. I also feel extremely guilty for doing this, and will have to work through that too. Squamous Cell Carcinoma Removal from Shin - Vancouver, WA - Squamous Cell Carcinoma diagnosed on shin of left leg. Because there is no extra skin on the shin, Dr. Champaneria had to work miracles to pull enough skin together so I did not have to have a skin graft. Father Time Catches Up to a 38 Yo Male Professional - Seattle, WA - "Ha! I'd never get Botox. I'll be fine as long as I use sunblock." Well, the time came last year in 2014 when I noticed that my face was not looking a fresh as it did in my mind's eye. I guess you can't look 25 forever! I noticed a lot of wrinkles in my forehead area, and a sharp crease/furrow between my eyebrows from too much scowling (or thinking) at work. I tried to relax my face in the mirror and the furrow and lines were still apparent. As a man, I had reservations about getting botox. I always viewed it as something Beverly Hills housewives get with their girlfriends. Needless to say, I got over my preconceived notions and saw Dr. Champaneria upon recommendation from a friend. My first impression - he has got to be one of the most POLITE doctors that I have ever seen! 36 Yrs Old, 4 Children, Small Sagging Breasts - Vancouver, WA - After having 4 children my boobs left little to be desired after having the life sucked out of them lol. I decided that it was finally time for me to love the way I looked again and that is where miracle worker Dr. Manish Champaneria stepped in! I wanted to go over the muscle with saline implants...Dr. C took the time to explain in detail all the reasons that I should go with silicone and not saline. I was a 32B and I wanted to be a D...he explained that since I am such a petite build with very little breast tissue to cover the implant going over the muscle, that the saline would look a like a disaster of sorts on my frame and that he, as well as I, would not enjoy the end result. I am sooo glad that I took his advice because let me tell you I AM IN LOVE with them! My Breast Reconstruction Story - Vancouver, WA - I really didn't think it would effect me all that much to lose a breast from breast cancer. I thought about how fortunate I truly was to be alive and to have survived stage 3 breast cancer. But, I found myself looking in the mirror at my body that looked so different after the chemotherapy, radiation and a unilateral mastectomy. I had gained weight due to side effects of steroids used as part of my treatment, lost my hair and I stood there looking at one breast and on the other side, I had a "chest wall". I highly recommend this procedure with utilizes the fatty tissue and skin from the abdominal area to create a new, natural feeling breast. So, basically, I got a tummy tuck and a new breast! Dr. Champaneria did a wonderful job! He is a true artist at what he does! Not only do I feel whole again physically, the depression I was feeling has lifted and I feel that I can move forward into a bright, hopeful future. Dr. Champaneria really cares about his patients and it shows. He spends quality time with each patient. He's easy to talk to and he made me feel that my case was not only important to me, but to him as well! I highly recommend Dr. Champaneria. More
44 Year Old Male Lower Body Lift - Vancouver, WA - 10 years and 170 pounds after gastric bypass surgery, I was ready to rid myself of my apron. Circumferential Body Lift -Dr. Manish Champaneria - I'm a busy wife and mamma to 5 kiddos and over 8 years have lost well over 100lbs, leaving me with unsightly loose skin. Over the Fall I was able to take off the last 20lbs, and my husband and I made the decision to begin the plastic surgery process to finish my journey. I had several consults with local surgeons, but when I met Dr. Champaneria I knew he was the one I wanted to fix me up. ;) Dr. C gave me a new hope that I could be that girl I felt like I was. He offered several procedure ideas and was patient with me as I went back and forth in my decision making process. He saw me in his office as much as I needed to help honestly and truthfully guide me to the right decision. What sealed the deal for me was when he shared that he has ocd in the OR, striving for the very best results he can get I connected to that lol! My surgery went beautifully, and recovery was uncomplicated and my pain was managed very well, yet it was still incredibly hard. At 5 weeks out my insision scar looks incredible already and I have such a hope for my future now. Dr. C is a true artist, while being very conservative to minimize my pain during recovery.
